About the Program

The Duke-Margolis Institute focuses on advancing health equity and improving healthcare value through evidence-based policy initiatives. Each summer, the institute welcomes approximately 20 interns to work alongside experienced mentors in either Durham, NC, or Washington, DC, addressing real-world health policy issues through research and analysis.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Open to undergraduates, graduates, professional students, Ph.D. candidates, and recent graduates (within three months).

  • Applicants must reside in Durham, NC, or Washington, DC, during the internship.
