Are you passionate about diplomacy, foreign policy, and empowering the next generation of changemakers? Young Diplomats of Canada (YDC) is now accepting applications for its Executive Team 2025. This is a unique opportunity for youth across Canada to step into meaningful leadership roles and contribute directly to national and international youth engagement in global affairs.
YDC is a national, youth-led, all-volunteer organisation that champions the voices of young Canadians in foreign policy and diplomacy. Through training, representation, and mentorship, YDC prepares youth to lead and influence conversations at international summits and global policy platforms.
Executive Positions Available
YDC is looking to fill several dynamic and impactful roles on its Executive Team, including:
- Communications Advisor
- Development Coordinator
- Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Coordinator
- Programs Coordinator
- Recruitment Coordinator
- Treasurer
Each role plays a vital part in supporting YDC’s national mission to ensure young Canadians are represented at the global level.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the YDC Executive Team, you must:
- Be a young person currently residing in Canada.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in diplomacy, youth engagement, or foreign policy.
- Show initiative, leadership, and a willingness to collaborate with others.
- Be committed to volunteering and creating a tangible impact in the youth diplomacy space.
There is no specific educational or professional requirement—YDC values passion, creativity, and diversity of experience.
