Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships 2025/2026 – Fully Funded Opportunities for Postgraduate Study

The Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships (QECS) are now accepting applications for the 2025/2026 academic year. These scholarships support individuals seeking to undertake a two-year master’s degree in a low- or middle-income Commonwealth country, other than their own.

The QECS program is designed for students passionate about making a positive impact in their communities. Who Can Apply:

• Applicants must be citizens of a Commonwealth country or have refugee status in one.
• Candidates must apply to a university in a different Commonwealth country from their own.
• Refugees should apply as citizens of the country where they currently hold refugee status.
• A minimum of an upper second-class undergraduate degree (or equivalent) is required.
• Scholarships are offered only in low- and middle-income Commonwealth countries.

How to Apply:

1. Review the list of host universities and eligible courses for the current application cycle.
2. Visit the respective university’s website to learn more about your selected course.
3. Submit a QECS application through the official portal (you’ll need to create an account if you don’t have one).
4. Apply separately to your selected university for admission to the course.
