Scholarship Benefits
Recipients of the Mandela Rhodes Scholarship will receive:

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a citizen of an African country
- Be between 19 and 29 years old
- Have completed an undergraduate degree with at least 70% or upper-second class honours by January 1, 2026
- Be proficient in English for postgraduate studies
- Exhibit ethical leadership qualities and a commitment to promoting equality, human dignity, and freedom in Africa
- Embrace Nelson Mandela’s vision of unity and collaboration
