Loughborough University Full Tuition Scholarship for African Postgraduates – 2025

Loughborough University in the United Kingdom is now accepting applications for the 2025 Development Trust Africa Scholarship. This scholarship provides full tuition coverage for a one-year postgraduate taught program and is aimed at outstanding students from Africa.

This award supersedes any other financial support previously granted by the university. Recipients will be responsible for securing their own funding for travel, living expenses, and other associated costs. As such, applicants must provide documentation showing they have or are actively seeking additional financial support for these expenses.

A limited number of scholarships are available, and selection is based on academic excellence and leadership potential. Funding for this program comes from both university resources and generous external donors.

Coverage:

• Full tuition fees for a selected postgraduate taught program for one academic year

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a permanent resident of an African country
• Demonstrated academic excellence, typically shown through a first-class undergraduate degree
• A strong desire to return and positively impact their home country upon program completion
• Clear understanding of the financial commitment required to study and live in the UK
• Proven initiative and ability to raise necessary funds for living expenses

Application Process:

Candidates must complete the Global Impact Scholarship application form to be considered. Submission of this form will place the applicant under consideration for both the Development Trust Africa Scholarship and the Global Impact Scholarship, both offering a full waiver of tuition fees.
