Applications are now open for the 2025 France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship, a prestigious program designed to attract top international students to French universities for master’s and doctoral degrees. Established by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this scholarship aims to nurture future global leaders in both public and private sectors. The Eiffel Scholarship provides opportunities in high-priority fields, equipping scholars with the expertise needed to drive innovation and progress in their home countries.

Scholarship Benefits
The Eiffel Scholarship provides the following financial support:
- Master’s Level: Recipients will receive a monthly stipend of €1,181, along with additional benefits such as:
- International and national travel
- Health insurance
- Assistance with housing and accommodation
- Access to cultural events
- Doctoral Level: Scholarship holders will receive a monthly stipend of €1,800 (as of January 1, 2024), plus:
- International and national travel
- Health insurance
- Assistance with housing and accommodation
- Access to cultural events
Note: Tuition fees are not covered by the Eiffel Scholarship program.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a foreign national. Applicants with dual nationality, including French citizenship, are not eligible.
- For Master’s Level: Applicants must be 27 years old or younger as of January 8, 2025, and must not be currently studying in France.
- For Doctoral Level: Applicants must be 32 years old or younger as of January 8, 2025. Candidates studying in France are eligible, but priority is given to those studying abroad.
Application Process
Step 1:
- Reach out to the Espace Campus France in your country or the French Embassy’s cooperation and cultural service for guidance on your study plan in France.
- Contact the International Relations department of your chosen French university to learn about their application deadlines and specific requirements for the Eiffel Scholarship.
Step 2:
- Once accepted by the institution, the university will submit your application for the Eiffel Scholarship on your behalf through the Campus France online portal.
- Applications submitted directly by students or foreign institutions will be considered ineligible.
Note: Only French higher education institutions can submit applications for the Eiffel Scholarship.
