The SME Education Foundation is accepting applications for its 2025 scholarship program, with a submission deadline of February 1, 2025. This initiative has been a cornerstone of support for aspiring manufacturing and engineering students for over four decades.
Designed to assist graduating high school seniors and college students, the program offers millions in financial aid annually to those pursuing associate or bachelor’s degrees in manufacturing, engineering, or related fields. It features over 60 unique scholarship options, including one-time and renewable awards, with a focus on promoting diversity and inclusivity.
Scholarship Highlights:
- Awards range between $2,500 and $20,000.
- Merit-based and need-based scholarships are available.
- Nearly $1 million is awarded each year.
Eligibility Requirements:
- High school senior or college student enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s program.
- Minimum 2.0 GPA.
- Studying manufacturing, engineering, or a related field.
- Attending an accredited institution in the U.S. or Canada.
- Permanent resident, citizen, or student visa holder for the U.S. or Canada.
- Open to both full-time and part-time students.
Application Timeline:
Applications are accepted annually from November 1 through February 1. Completing one application allows you to be considered for all eligible scholarships.
