Global Opportunities
ACBA eD is an educative platform that help businesses, organisations and communities transition their linear operation model practices to circular model practices by equipping them with the best circular knowledge and tools to be at the forefront of this transformation that offers a healthy environment, innovative green technologies, sustainable profitability and socio-economic development.
ACBA eD is a division of the African Circular Business Alliance (ACBA), a multinational organisation dedicated to advancing circular economy principles throughout Africa by providing businesses with necessary tools and resources to transition to circular practices and achieve net-zero goals.
The African Circular Business Alliance (ACBA) works alongside policymakers, industry experts, civil society organisations, government agencies, academics, and many other stakeholders to establish a supportive ecosystem for circular economy initiatives and heighten consciousness about the benefits of circular economy practices and sustainability.
Courses on ACBA eD are designed to be flexible and self-paced. The course material consists of pre-recorded videos or written content that you can explore at your own convenience. Live teaching sessions are sometimes conducted in our courses and participants will have to make themselves available during the live session. Additionally, learners can interact with each other through the comments section, where discussions can be ongoing and contribute to at any time. If there are any live components in your course, such as a Zoom lecture or a Facebook video meetup, they will be clearly indicated in the course content. However, participating in these events is generally not mandatory to successfully complete the course, so there’s no need to worry if you’re unable to attend. You are not required to be online simultaneously with the course instructor or other students.
Courses become available at midnight on Mondays (00:00 SAST) according to the displayed date on the course page. If you reside in a different time zone, your ACBA eD will indicate the course start time in your local time zone. This might create the perception that the course will commence a day earlier or later than the date mentioned on the course description page, but there is no need to be concerned. Once the course begins, you can access the course materials and study at your convenience. There is no requirement for you to be online simultaneously with the course instructor or other students.

At the moment, we do not have an ACBA eD app available. However, we are working on developing one for the future. Rest assured, once the app is ready, we will make a big announcement about it! If you happen to come across an ACBA eD app in your phone’s app store, please notify us promptly by sending an email to support@acba.africa. Additionally, if possible, please report it to the app store as well. Our website is designed to function properly on various devices, including phones and tablets, regardless of the browser width.
