Our Government Relations office in Brussels is looking for a Trainee to support its team in October 2024. The role is ideally suited to a recent graduate, preferably with an EU background, or someone with a first professional experience in the European ecosystem.
A non-exhaustive list of responsibilities includes:
- Gathering, analysing, and communicating intelligence on the EU political and institutional developments relevant to the company;
- Taking charge of the EU weekly monitoring report;
- Helping organise events and meetings;
- Conducting research work in relevant fields;
- Participate in internal and external meetings;
- Contributing to stakeholder mappings.
Qualifications
- Good understanding of EU policymaking and EU institutions;
- University or advanced degree in relevant field, such as Political Science, Law, (Business) Economics, and European or International Affairs;
- Excellent written and verbal proficiency in English, knowledge of an additional European language is an asset;
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, business oriented;
- Positive attitude and a flexible team player.
Conditions:
- Internship/convention of professional immersion, remunerated according to Belgian law;
- Starting date: 20th October 2024;
- Duration: 1 year.
