The recent edition of the Innovate Pitch and Grant saw Nigerian entrepreneurs emerge as winners, showcasing the nation’s innovative prowess.
OneGrid Energies, a startup dedicated to transforming rural areas through recycling waste plastic into affordable rechargeable lanterns, clinched the top spot, securing a $2000 grant. Similarly, Post Paddy, an AI-driven social media management tool for small businesses, secured the first runner-up position, earning $1000.
The event, hosted by Crosspoint Church, drew entrepreneurs nationwide, resulting in six finalists: OneGrid Energies, Post Paddy, Thinkbikes, Xavier Technologies, Didactic Media, and Klay Foods. These finalists showcased their groundbreaking ventures at a live pitch event in Lagos, delivering compelling presentations that underscored the innovative potential of their technologies across various sectors.
Ladi Soyombo, the Convener, extended congratulations to the winners, highlighting Innovate’s pivotal role in nurturing youth-driven change and fostering entrepreneurial growth.
Themed “Inspiring Leadership, Transforming the Future,” the event featured insightful lectures, panel discussions, and a job recruitment session, attracting a diverse audience comprising industry experts, venture capitalists, tech enthusiasts, and seasoned professionals.
